Al Green Sculpture Studio School (formerly City Sculpture School and Studio) is the brainchild of Al Green. Among the founding goals of the studio was the desire to bring the principles of sculpture to individuals who want more involvement and access to work than the normal 3 hours a week that most other facilities offer.
We do not have formal classes; rather we provide a less structured environment where you can work and learn according to your own schedule and abilities. Hone or learn new skills in a creative and supportive milieu. All levels of experience are welcomed as instruction and assistance are available to the membership weekday afternoons and evenings as well as all day Friday and Saturday.
Our primary emphasis is additive sculpture, with occasional workshops, field trips, and demonstrations offered as a means of broadening the artistic experience.
